Bio

Juan Francisco Zerpa is a venezuelan singer/songwriter with various musical productions edited independently in the musical business of his native country. Singer, drummer and composer, he studied singing, acting and blues with the renowned american singer Janice Williams. He has performed at several stages in Venezuela and has made appearances in many TV shows in addition to sucessfully participating in Musicals at important theatres in Caracas.

His warm songs, a modern blend of latin pop melted with blues sounds and alternative rock, transport the listener to another place and time through deep lyrics that suggests intense emotions. Throughout his carreer on the stages, Juan Francisco has interpreted his songs as a soloist and in company of various novel and famous artists.

In 1999 he released his first CD, “Juan Francisco”, produced by the famous venezuelan singer Guillermo Carrasco. In 2001 he released his second record: “Ecos (Echoes)”, a 4 tracks EP. At the beginning of 2004 he finished the recording of his third CD “Lejos de aquí" (Far away from here)  which was released in 2005. This record contains ten songs with the sound of blues and alternative rock. In this CD, Juan Francisco has made his first performance as a musical producer.

Besides, his songs had been included in several compilations: "El Solar de los Desconocidos" (2000), “CAUTION: Music Zone, Part II”  (2004), “Atracciones de Otoño”  (Fall Attractions) (2005). and "Sonogram" (2006) edited in Miami, USA. He won “The Mar de Plata International Award” as revelation male singer of the year (1998) proving that Juan Francisco has given and will give us all of his talent and sensibility in his promising musical carreer.
